Wallflowers, Movies and the sun-sun-sun dance

I have great news, people. Great news. Remember that book, The Perks of Being a Wallflower (yes, the one where I got the idea for the name of this blog from)? They're adapting it into a movie! OMFG with a loud squee. This made me so, so happy. By 'they' I mean the movie making people of this world, and the author of the novel - who I heard would be the director of the film (which I think is great). And guess what, I heard Emma Watson will play the role of Sam, which is.. bizarre, in the way that I can't see her playing any other character other then that preppy little witch. Which is probably because I've never seen her as anything else than that. But I do wish the whole cast (and crew!) the best of luck with making this movie, and please, please, for the sake of the fans, make it a good one!

Speaking of movies, I watched 'Water for Elephants' the other day. (I know, I'm probably the last person on Earth not to have swooned over a sweaty, animal-loving Mr. Pattinson on the big screen for the third time already). But I watched it, and it was beyond great. And I do mean beyond great. So; if you haven't watched it yet - do it!

Remember how I always say my life is complete after having been to a concert? Well, it's true. With every concert I go to, my life becomes increasingly more complete. I know that's weird. Love is what should make you 'complete' and all that, but to me, it's currently books and music. In the last month or so, I've seen Noah & the Whale and Arctic Monkeys live. I'm telling you, nothing, nothing, can beat the feeling of screaming "I bet that you look good on the dancefloor" along with xhundres of other people while jumping up and down, hands raised to the ceiling. Nothing. Except singing along to "Five years time" by NATW live, doing the sun-sun-sun moves with your hands like they do in the music vid: the sun-sun-sun dance.

Okay, I'm falling asleep right now. Have a good weekend, you all:)

Kisses, PW

I saw Eclipse. I'm not impressed.

Umm, so this scene was way hotter better than what expected it to be, but everything else was.. well.. not quite as amazing as seeing Robward with his shirt open. On a bed..

I know, I know, but seriously.. There were some MAJOR flaws in the movie which, at times, made me want to laugh out loud when there clearly was nothing to laugh about. Bella's wig. Oh my. It was even worse than Jacob's Twilight wig and Rosalie's New Moon wig combined. And puh-lease, that Rosalie and Bella scene? Wtf happened to Rosalie's heartfelt confession? It's not that Nikki Reed didn't do a great job, she did, but the whole scene just didn't play out the way I had pictured it.

There's about a thousand other minor things that I think should have been different (like longer scenes; I felt like the whole thing was just one big collage of scenes put together just to try and fit everything - every page of every chapter - into one movie. I liked it better the Twilight way - leave out some stuff to make the most important scenes more intense).

So my thoughts when I walked out of the theater? Well, I didn't hate it, I just didn't particularly like it.

As always, lots of love, PW

I can't wait to see the leg hitch scene, umm ECLIPSE already!

"That's a bit saaaucy." - Robward Pattinson

I'm counting the days now for June 30th. I'm still in awe of how quickly these movies seem to pop out of nowhere. It's not like it's that freakin long since New Moon came out, and then here we go again! (Not that I'm complaining of course).

Since it's really not that long till June 30th (it's 9 days! Nine!) I've decided to re-read Eclipse. Just so I'm prepared, and have every detail fresh in mind. It is, after all, over a year since I last read it.

So that's what I'm gonna do for the next few days. Read, read and read some more. Read at the beach, read before I go to bed (that's never a good idea. I tried that the first time, and I stayed up until 2 am every night all week until I was finished reading the book. And then Breaking Dawn. Surprisingly, it didn't take any longer to read BD, so I must have stayed up even longer then) and while standing in line at the grocery store. Maybe.

If you're still in doubt; I love Twilight. I've loved it ever since I read the series in 2008/2009. And that was before the movie(s) came out. I love Edward too, despite his stalkerish ways..

I know it's wrong, but... it's Edward. As in Edward Cullen. So tell me, how can that be creepy?

Love, PW
